A Happy, Fall Elopement in Torres del Paine

The bride holds her hands over the grooms eyes as she surprises him from behind during their first look at the edge of Lake Pehoe in Torres del Paine, Patagonia.

T and N plan the trip of a lifetime in Patagonia for their perfect wedding.

When T and N met in Breckenridge 13 years ago, their connection was so instant and so deep that it was almost like their subconsciouses knew that they were destined for each other well before either of them did. T, in fact, claims that their energy was so otherworldly, so inexplicable, that she’s convinced they have lived many lives together already. Magnetically pulled towards one another in a way that seemed almost inevitable, T and N decided to move in together before they had even shared a first kiss!

N proposed on a day filled with so many of their shared favorite things– mountains, a pristine lake, adventure, birds, and trees… They hopped a train to Leadville, CO, and soaked up the streaming views of the aspens in the fall, then picnicked spontaneously by Turquoise Lake, where N got down on one knee and popped the question.

T and N knew that they wanted their wedding to be an unforgettable trip of a lifetime– one all about luxuriating in each other’s company (alongside their parents) and celebrating some joy in a landscape full of beauty and magic (and preferably snow, another favorite)! With that in mind, T and N decided to elope in a place they had never before been– Torres del Paine, Chile

On the morning of their big day, T and N got ready (with the help of their attentive and adoring parents) at a lovely and unassuming little spot along the aquamarine waters of the Lago Pehoe. Here, they shared a sweet first look underneath a heavenly pinkish sunrise and a canopy of the most stunning cream puff clouds, surrounded by the snow-dusted, imposing Andes. N looked dashing in his blue suit and cozy cap, and T was likewise arrestingly gorgeous in her two-piece gossamer gown, which billowed out beautifully in the blustery wind.

After warming up with some breakfast and coffee, T and N struck out on a hike into the striking Paine Mountains. Along the way, they tucked into a secluded little spot and exchanged their pre-written vows in a private, precious moment. Shortly after, they arrived at their ceremony spot– a stunning viewpoint under the striking “horns” of the mountain, along Lake Nordenskjöld. After exchanging rings and a kiss, the two newlyweds joyously popped a bottle of champagne and merrily toasted (and drank to) their many adventures yet to come…

B + G’s Winter Wedding in Torres del Paine

Torres del Paine Elopement at Sunrise in February

The bride hikes through bare trees with her faux fur coat, wide-brimmed hat, polka dot dress, and hiking shoes. She is journeying to find her groom for their first look in Torres del Paine, Patagonia.
A touching black and white photo of the groom's mom securing his boutonniere before his first look on the edge of Lake Pehoe in Patagonia. His mom is wearing a coat with the hood up as the wind blows her blonde hair.
The groom, in his blueish-green suit and bright orange corsage, looks out in anticipation as his bride approaches him from behind. The POV is in front of the groom and we can see the bride out-of-focus in the background.
The sky is pink from the early hour of the morning as the sun slowly rises, Torres del Paine is covered in snow, and the bride covers her fiance's eye from behind to surprise him during their first look. The scene couldn't be more beautiful.
After the initial first look at his fiance, the groom smiles sweetly at his beautiful partner, inches away from her face.
The bride and groom sit on the dark sand of the coast of the turquoise lake in Patagonia during the sunset. The two are sharing a kiss as they hold the bride's hat for some privacy.
Walking along the coast of the blue lake at Torres del Paine as the sun warms up the sky and kisses the snowy mountains before them.
The free-spirited bride looks out at the view ahead while she holds her white wide-brimmed hat from blowing away in the wind in one hand and holds her colorful bouquet in the other hand. Her unique dress is a two-piece polka dot ensemble.
Standing on the edge of the lake, the engaged couple point out towards the mountains as the sunrise illuminates the crisp peaks of Torres del Paine.
The couple share an moment of intimacy and closeness in an almost-kiss. They are out of focus and the mountains behind them stick out against the blue lake.
With the mountains and lake out of focus in the background, the couple are front and center in the shot as the groom kisses the forehead of his beautiful bride and she closes her eyes while holding the back of his neck. Her hair blows in the breeze.
After an incredible morning, the couple stop for a break and write their vows next to each other on a couch. In this raw moment, we have a closeup view of them writing in their vow books.
Taking a moment on the dock on the ice blue lake in Torres del Paine, the bride and groom smile up at each other. The groom has a sign that says "her always" hanging from his backpack - a picture perfect moment during their elopement adventure.
The bride and groom stop on their journey to the site of their vows, standing slightly off the trail, hand in hand, while gazing up at the snow dusted peaks through the clouds in Torres del Paine.

Congratulations, T + N!
