Fall Foliage + Snow Dusted Peaks for Kailee + Brock’s Intimate Elopement

The iconic Maroon Bells are the most photographed mountain peaks in North America! Just look at these breathtaking images to see why! Kailee and Brock knew they wanted to hike on their elopement day, as well as spend time near a water feature—waterfall, lake, or river. The Bells, near Aspen, Colorado, with its colorful aspen forests, checked all the boxes for their intimate vow reading and day hike.

This also means the Bells are one of the most popular elopement locations in Colorado, so it’s important to reserve your date ASAP! The site can be reserved one year in advance, for a fee of $200. The nice thing is that no special permits are needed. More Maroon Bells wedding information can be found at the Aspen Chamber website, and reservations can be made at Recreation.gov.

Located just outside of Aspen, Maroon Bells boasts some of the most quintessentially “Colorado” vistas. We’re talking postcard-perfect landscapes: rolling hills, jagged mountains, and tranquil alpine lakes. Given that it’s known as one the most beautiful places to get married in Colorado, it’s an extremely popular elopement destination, so you’ll want to book in advance.

Maroon Bells is gorgeous year-round, but especially enchanting in the fall months when its aspen trees burst with electric reds and honey-tinted golds.
