We all know how special the last year of high school is.

For this reason, you’ll want to consider the following location options when shooting your senior portraits in Colorado.

1. Visit a New Town:

Shoot in a different city – it's amazing what you will find in different towns and bigger cities. Parks, ponds, lakes, bridges, alleys and all the cities and little towns have to offer, let's explore. Just having a change of scenery can get your creative juices flowing again.

9. Airplanes

Are you an aspiring pilot? We can always ask a local airport FBO and see if they’ll let us shoot some photos onsite with one of their training airplanes.  Maybe you know someone who owns an airplane we can “borrow” to take some cool shots – fun!

12. Racetrack

If NASCAR, drag racing, or other motorsports float your boat, see if you can find a local track that is willing to let you come out and take photos. Most places will be willing to do it. Worst case scenario, they will charge a small fee, so it's always worth a try!

Spice Up Your Senior Portraits

Over the years, I’ve photographed seniors in their homes, on mountaintops, along trails, in National Parks, mountain towns, city parks, in the water, and more… you name it, I’ve probably done it!

If there is a location that you want to go that is not on this list, just let me know! Maybe a store where you work, maybe an arcade... Get the idea? If there’s a place that you go with your friends for fun, we might be able to make that into a great backdrop for your senior portrait session. Let’s make it happen!
