A Happy, Fall Elopement in Torres del Paine

T and N plan the trip of a lifetime in Patagonia for their perfect wedding.

When T and N met in Breckenridge 13 years ago, their connection was so instant and so deep that it was almost like their subconsciouses knew that they were destined for each other well before either of them did. T, in fact, claims that their energy was so otherworldly, so inexplicable, that she’s convinced they have lived many lives together already. Magnetically pulled towards one another in a way that seemed almost inevitable, T and N decided to move in together before they had even shared a first kiss!

N proposed on a day filled with so many of their shared favorite things– mountains, a pristine lake, adventure, birds, and trees… They hopped a train to Leadville, CO, and soaked up the streaming views of the aspens in the fall, then picnicked spontaneously by Turquoise Lake, where N got down on one knee and popped the question.

T and N knew that they wanted their wedding to be an unforgettable trip of a lifetime– one all about luxuriating in each other’s company (alongside their parents) and celebrating some joy in a landscape full of beauty and magic (and preferably snow, another favorite)! With that in mind, T and N decided to elope in a place they had never before been– Torres del Paine, Chile

On the morning of their big day, T and N got ready (with the help of their attentive and adoring parents) at a lovely and unassuming little spot along the aquamarine waters of the Lago Pehoe. Here, they shared a sweet first look underneath a heavenly pinkish sunrise and a canopy of the most stunning cream puff clouds, surrounded by the snow-dusted, imposing Andes. N looked dashing in his blue suit and cozy cap, and T was likewise arrestingly gorgeous in her two-piece gossamer gown, which billowed out beautifully in the blustery wind.

After warming up with some breakfast and coffee, T and N struck out on a hike into the striking Paine Mountains. Along the way, they tucked into a secluded little spot and exchanged their pre-written vows in a private, precious moment. Shortly after, they arrived at their ceremony spot– a stunning viewpoint under the striking “horns” of the mountain, along Lake Nordenskjöld. After exchanging rings and a kiss, the two newlyweds joyously popped a bottle of champagne and merrily toasted (and drank to) their many adventures yet to come…
