White Sand Winter Wedding In Cozumel, Mexico
Kaitlyn + Matt Celebrate Their Day on the Magical White Sands of Mexico!
Imagine digging your toes into the warm sand, palm trees waving in the gentle breeze, ocean waves lapping upon the shore, and the person you want to spend the rest of your life with by your side. Kait and Matt’s beach wedding was a tropical dream! Surrounded by family and friends, they walked the sandy aisle across rose petal hearts, into one another’s arms.
Matt and Kait have traveled the world together, from backpacking the Himalayas to bunking down in European hostels; they knew they wanted an epic location for their wedding. (They also admitted that a destination wedding would help keep the guest-count lower.) Kait always dreamed of being barefoot in the sand on her wedding day, and after visiting the Yucatan Peninsula a number of times, they decided that was the ideal location.
Kait got ready for the ceremony in a bright casita with sun-yellow walls. Her mother helped her into her dress, a family friend did her hair, and the resort provided an in-house makeup artist for the finishing touches. With the help of his groomsmen, Matt pinned his boutonniere upon his ocean-green suit, and prepared to say “I do.” The couple exchanged vows beneath a beautiful trellis decorated with lace, bright flowers, and palms, and the guests erupted in cheers.
After the ceremony, there were lanterns and sparklers, lighting up the night. The party was just getting started! With a drive for adventure, the couple jumped on a moped, a “Just Married” sign swinging off the back, and enjoyed a little post-wedding scoot together, trailing celebratory cans behind them. Upon returning to the resort, they danced the night away with family and friends. This dreamy beach wedding was filled with so much joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments!
